Gill Livingston, MBchB, MD, FRCPsich, objavio je drugo a\u017euriranje svog istra\u017eivanja \u201ePrevencija, intervencija i nega demencije: izve\u0161taj stalne komisije Lancet za 2024.\u201c u nau\u010dnom \u010dasopisu <em>The Lancet<\/em> . <a href=\"#_ftn1\" name=\"_ftnref1\">[1] <\/a>Jo\u0161 2017. godine <a href=\"#_ftn2\" name=\"_ftnref2\">[2]<\/a> i ponovo 2020. <a href=\"#_ftn3\" name=\"_ftnref3\">[3]<\/a> ova grupa je identifikovala gubitak sluha kao najvec\u0301i faktor rizika za demenciju kasnije u \u017eivotu. U ovoj takozvanoj meta-studiji, istra\u017eiva\u010di su uporedili podatke iz svih studija na tu temu \u0161irom sveta i tako dobili posebno zna\u010dajne i pouzdane rezultate. Pored dvanaest ranije poznatih faktora rizika za demenciju koji se mogu promeniti, sada su dodata jo\u0161 dva: o\u0161tec\u0301enje vida i povi\u0161eni nivo holesterola. Sumnja se i na nedostatak sna, nedostatke u ishrani, razne zarazne bolesti i upale, uklju\u010dujuc\u0301i upale zuba, kao i na neka psihi\u010dka i psihijatrijske bolesti i hormonske uticaje. Me\u0111utim, trenutna studija potvr\u0111uje gubitak sluha kao posebno zna\u010dajan rizik od demencije: \u0161to je o\u0161tec\u0301enje sluha izra\u017eenije, to je vec\u0301i rizik od demencije. Prema trenutnim nalazima, povi\u0161eni nivoi LDL holesterola i gubitak sluha su dva najvec\u0301a faktora rizika za demenciju koja se mogu izbec\u0301i, od kojih svaki \u010dini sedam procenata.<\/p>\n<h2>Svako mo\u017ee da smanji svoj individualni rizik od demencije<\/h2>\n<p>Matemati\u010dki gledano, skoro upola manje ljudi bi razvilo demenciju ako bismo eliminisali sve faktore rizika koji se mogu kontrolisati. U stvari, neki od faktora uti\u010du jedni na druge, kako je izjavio neurolog prof. dr. Peter Berlit, generalni sekretar Nema\u010dkog dru\u0161tva za neurologiju. Kao primer navodi uticaj gubitka sluha ili vida na komunikaciju, \u0161to ima uticaj na kognitivne sposobnosti i socijalne interakcije. On pominje samo dve od moguc\u0301ih posledica nele\u010denih o\u0161tec\u0301enja sluha, koja mogu uticati i na rizik od demencije. Me\u0111utim, svaki pojedinac mo\u017ee smanjiti rizik od demencije izbegavajuc\u0301i pojedina\u010dne faktore koliko god je to moguc\u0301e ili interveni\u0161uc\u0301i tamo gde je to neophodno. \u0160to se ti\u010de gubitka sluha: za\u0161titite sluh \u0161to je vi\u0161e mogu\u0107e, obezbedite adekvatnu negu i terapiju ako je potrebno, odr\u017eavajte dru\u0161tvene kontakte i bavite se psiholo\u0161kim stresom koji je nastao kao posledica gubitka sluha!<\/p>\n<h2>Nau\u010dnici preporu\u010duju negu sluha kao prevenciju za demenciju<\/h2>\n<div id=\"attachment_27832\" style=\"width: 310px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><img decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-27832\" class=\"lazyload wp-image-27818 size-medium\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml,%3Csvg%20xmlns%3D%27http%3A%2F%2Fwww.w3.org%2F2000%2Fsvg%27%20width%3D%27300%27%20height%3D%27200%27%20viewBox%3D%270%200%20300%20200%27%3E%3Crect%20width%3D%27300%27%20height%3D%27200%27%20fill-opacity%3D%220%22%2F%3E%3C%2Fsvg%3E\" data-orig-src=\"https:\/\/lifelonghearing.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/Demenz-2-300x200.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-27832\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Svako od nas mo\u017ee smanjiti individualni rizik od demencije, smanjuju\u0107i zdravstvene faktore rizika \u0161to je vi\u0161e mogu\u0107e, kao \u0161to je o\u010duvanje dobrog sluha. \u00a9Adobe Stock<\/p><\/div>\n<p>\u010cini se da hipoteza nekih istra\u017eiva\u010da da demencija i gubitak sluha imaju zajedni\u010dke, kardiovaskularne uzroke nije potvr\u0111ena, \u0161to bi zna\u010dilo da je gubitak sluha samo jedan od pokazatelja povec\u0301anog rizika od demencije. Me\u0111utim, rizik od demencije se povec\u0301ava \u0161to gubitak sluha traje du\u017ee, a autori studije sumnjaju da bi \u201epsihosocijalne posledice gubitka sluha kao \u0161to su usamljenost, depresija i socijalna izolacija mogle da igraju ulogu\u201c. Prema re\u010dima nau\u010dnika, ljudima sa o\u0161tec\u0301enim sluhom tako\u0111e treba vi\u0161e kognitivnih resursa za slu\u0161anje i stoga imaju manje kognitivnih resursa za druge utiske. Ovo bi moglo imati dodatni efekat. Ako osobe sa o\u0161tec\u0301enim sluhom koriste slu\u0161na pomagala ima\u0107e: \u201ezna\u010dajno manji rizik od kognitivnog propadanja i demencije od onih koji ne koriste pomagala. [...] Dokazi o prednostima slu\u0161nih pomagala u smislu rizika od demencije postaju sve jasniji\u201c, potvr\u0111uju autori studije. \u0160to se ti\u010de aspekata zdravstvene politike, uvo\u0111enje slu\u0161nih pomagala za efikasno spre\u010davanje demencije verovatno bi u\u0161tedelo dalje tro\u0161kove.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><a href=\"#_ftnref1\" name=\"_ftn1\">[1]<\/a> Livingston G Huntley J Liu KY et al.
